Carrie Underwood delivered a powerhouse performance of her brand new single "Cry Pretty" at the 2018 ACM Awards, earning the singer a standing ovation from the star studded crowd.

The performance was a comeback of sorts for Underwood, who hasn't made a public appearance since suffering a fall outside her Nashville home late last year. The fall broke her wrist and required the singer to get 40-50 stitches in her face.
Written by Underwood, Lori McKenna, Liz Rose and Hillary Lindsay, the song reflects the strength in showing emotional vulnerability.
