Country star Carrie Underwood and her husband Mike Fisher are expanding their family. In a video posted to Underwood's social media pages this morning (Aug. 8), the "Cry Pretty" singer shared the exciting news.
After announcing the 2019 Cry Pretty Tour 360, there was one more big news item that Underwood wanted to share.
"You might be wondering and asking, 'Carrie, why is your tour starting in May?'" she stated before the camera began to pan out, revealing balloons that spell out the word "BABY." "Well ... yay!"
"Mike and Isaiah and I are absolutely over the moon and excited to be adding another little fish to our pond!" she told fans. "This has just been a dream come true, with album and with baby news and all that stuff. We're just so excited, and just so glad that you guys can share in this with us."
Underwood and Fisher welcomed their first child, son Isaiah, in 2015.
Carrie has spent most of the year away from the spotlight after suffering a facial injury from a fall last year. Now, she's gearing up for baby No. 2 and a brand new record. Cry Pretty, Underwood's seventh studio album, will be released on Sept. 14.
