In a message shared to her Twitter page, the country star revealed that she underwent surgery on her broken wrist earlier this week.
"I just wanted let everyone know that I'm doing great. Had surgery on my wrist yesterday & all went well...even though I'll be setting off airport metal detectors from now on," Underwood shared. "I'm so thankful for the doctors, nurses, family & friends who've been taking such great care of me."
The news signals that her injuries were more serious than initially thought.
Underwood reported that she had a broken wrist and minor cuts and bruises after falling on the front steps of her Nashville home on Friday, Nov. 11. The injuries caused Underwood to pull out of the star-studded Country Rising benefit concert that was held on Nov. 12.
