At first glance, a Chevrolet Silverado covered by images of Carrie Underwood seems like overkill. Sure, she's a talented performer, but why not slap one sticker on the bumper and call it a day? For truck owner Lawrence Young of Concordia, Kansas, each vivid image from Underwood's career doubles as a tribute to his late wife, Kathi. She died in 2010 due to brain damage from surgery complications. In her final days, Kathi found comfort in Underwood's songs.

To fly his own fan flag and honor his wife's memory, Young had his graphic designer son Gregory plan and create the designs, mostly culled from Underwood's press shots. The sides and tailgate bear the text "A Tribute to Carrie Underwood," while the rear windshield references Kathi Young, the "Carrie Underwood Ultimate Fan." His son's end of the project took 10 days and cost a reported $2,000.
Young told The Blast that the truck is so popular around town that someone offered him $175, ooo for it. He refused, claiming the story behind the truck means more than money or fame.
That said, Young seems open to one special perk that could come from his viral fame. Back in the summer, he posted his intentions to visit Nashville, with hopes that Underwood would agree to see the truck in person and sign its hood.
