Cassadee Pope and fiancé Rian Dawson have reportedly ended their four-month engagement. The separation was a mutual decision and a source tells Nashville Gab that the two "have amicably ended their relationship, but remain good friends, supportive of each others' careers and maintain the utmost respect for one another."

The Voice champion began dating the All Time Low drummer back in 2009 while Dawson and Pope's former punk-rock band Hey Monday were on tour together. Dawson even appeared in Pope's music video for "Summer" as her love interest.
The couple announced their engagement via social media in February. It came just days before the Grammy awards. Pope's duet with Chris Young, "Think Of You," was nominated for Best Country Duo/Group Performance.

Prior to the split Pope described Dawson as "an amazing, amazing supporter of mine, and he has been since the beginning, since six-and-a-half years ago, before The Voice, before everything."
Pope has been busy preparing new music this year. She hinted at it right before the couple's initial engagement announcement.
"I'm just hoping to release something. I've been writing a ton," Pope told The Boot. "Getting the whole team behind me and to agree on songs, it's a lot. I'm taking this year as a little bit of a transitional year, and figuring things out and doing what I want to do creatively, and not answering to anybody. It's very validating. And scary. And risky. But I don't care. I'm doing me."
