There's no escaping celebrity liquor brands. Some stars have sold off their custom blends, like George Clooney and his billion-dollar Casamigos Tequila. Others just can't quit the booze game: Since ending his years-long partnership with Wild Turkey, Matthew McConaughey unveiled Pantalones Tequila — complete with a pants-free marketing campaign. Stars — they're just like us!

Celebrity liquor brands are a mixed bag, to be sure. If you partake, you know about the rapturous reception Ryan Reynolds' Aviation Gin has received. You might also have heard about Jennifer Lopez, who once said that she doesn't touch alcohol, unveiling a line of spritzes with pretty packaging — after unveiling a line of beauty products with pretty packaging. Still avoiding those Fabletics ads on Instagram? You'll be glad to know that everyone's favorite nepo baby, Kate Hudson, is now a yoga freak and a vodka purveyor.
But for every Kendall Jenner doing premium tequila, there's a Steven Soderbergh boldly going where no one (seriously, not a one) has gone before and trying to make singani grape distillate happen. Now that's passion. And not every celebrity liquor brand fizzles out, either. Since being discontinued, Willie Nelson's Old Whiskey River Bourbon is pretty much a collector's item. Bottles currently sell for around $2,000 a pop.
Below, we've rounded up 21 celebrity liquor brands you should try out. There are some classics (Robert De Niro's fancy New Zealand vodka), some oddball ideas (Woody Harrelson's "superfood" spirits) and plenty of whiskies courtesy of your favorite country artists. Bottoms up!
Matthew McConaughey - Pantalones Tequila
Matthew McConaughey was the face of Wild Turkey Longbranch Bourbon for years, even becoming the company's creative director. After his contract with Wild Turkey ended, the Oscar winner founded Pantalones Tequila with his wife, Camila Alves McConaughey, in 2023. Their tagline? "The best thing we've made with our pants on."
Kenny Chesney - Blue Chair Bay Rum
Is there really any side hustle more fitting for Kenny Chesney than a rum brand? Inspired by the "island lifestyle," Blue Chair Bay Rum offers 11 flavor variations crafted with natural ingredients. Pour yourself a cocktail, put on "No Shirt, No Shoes, No Problem" and be transported.
George Clooney - Casamigos Tequila
Ah, the celebrity booze brand that started it all. For years, George Clooney and Rande Gerber enjoyed sampling tequilas together at their neighboring vacation homes in Mexico. They decided to make their own concoction, and Casamigos was born in 2013. The duo sold the brand for a billion dollars in 2017, but their names are still on the bottle.
Woody Harrelson - Holistic Spirits
Woody Harrelson is many things — an Oscar nominee, an all-around chill dude, possibly Matthew McConaughey's long-lost brother and a huge troll. "For years I've wondered who was going to come along and put my favorite superfoods into spirits," he said upon the release of his Holistic Spirits line. But, seriously: His Origen Vodka and Harmony Gin include good-for-you ingredients like green tea and elderberries, and for every bottle sold, one tree will be planted.

Ryan Reynolds - Aviation American Gin
Gotta hand it to Ryan Reynolds. The man has great taste. After trying Aviation American Gin, distilled in Portland, Reynolds up and purchased the brand in 2018. Then, in 2020, he sold it for a cool $610 million to Diageo, the same spirits giant that bought Clooney's Casamigos. "I've tried every gin on the planet and Aviation is, hands down, the best," Reynolds said. "Also, I don't recommend trying every gin on the planet. Stick with this one."
George Strait - Código 1530 Tequila
From George Clooney to George Strait, there's just something about sampling tequila in Mexico that inspires the stars to craft their own bottles of the good stuff. What sets Strait's Código apart from other tequilas is that it's aged in Napa Cabernet French White Oak barrels. In 2018, the country legend released the song "Código" as a companion piece to his personal blend.

Channing Tatum - Born and Bred Vodka
Channing Tatum partnered with Grand Teton Distillery in Driggs, Idaho on his mission to make the best vodka in the country. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson - Teremana Tequila
The Rock unveiled his handcrafted Teremana Tequila in 2023, explaining in an Instagram post what the name means and how it honors his Native heritage. "TERA is meant to represent 'Terre' which means of the earth and MANA is our powerful Polynesian spirit that guides us," the star wrote.

They rolled out with a Blackberry Gin and a Bonfire Rye Whiskey, with more spirits on the horizon.
Brothers Osborne - WhistlePig PiggyBack Whiskey
Brothers TJ and John of Brothers Osborne teamed with WhistlePig to craft a limited-edition single barrel rye whiskey. "At its core, music is a string of notes that creates a perfect melody, and the same applies to whiskey," the Grammy-winning duo stated. "You want a combination of various components that complement one another, and whether it's music or whiskey, it's always a dynamic mix."

Jeremy Renner - Sweet Grass Vodka
Just months after his near-fatal snowplow accident, Jeremy Renner announced his new ownership of Sweet Grass Vodka, a potato vodka made in Charleston, South Carolina. The "Mayor of Kingstown" star said in a statement: "One of the many things I loved about Sweet Grass Vodka was the authenticity to how the product is made and what it represents. From the carefully curated and locally sourced ingredients to the single strand of sweetgrass that pays homage to South Carolina's rich history."
