On June 14, nurses can receive a free meal in the U.S. and Canada just by showing their work ID. Customers can choose from a burrito, tacos, burrito bowl or salad. The meal is free with the purchase of any other entree. According to Tasting Table, you must be a RN, NP, CRNA, CNS, CNM, LVN, CNA or a local equivalent to receive the buy one, get one free deal.
Nurses are known for putting in long hours with little time for breaks. By giving nurses another free meal for free, they are providing a quick and easy treat for those who couldn't normally take a long time out for lunch or dinner.
