Last month, we asked our readers to submit their best Chris Stapleton cover videos for a chance to win up to $1,000 in cash. Contestants were allowed to pick one of seven Chris Stapleton songs: "Either Way," "I Was Wrong," "Fire Away," "Tennessee Whiskey," "Parachute," "Traveller" and "Broken Halos."

Some seriously talented musicians submitted covers to this contest. We compiled the top 10 covers as voted by you, and our judges selected these three finalists.
1st Place - Kelvin Damrell, "I Was Wrong"
We were blown away when we heard Kelvin Damrell's spot on cover of "I Was Wrong." This song is very difficult to sing like Stapleton does, but Damrell nails it. This standout cover wins him $1,000 in cash and a vinyl and cd copy of Stapleton's new album, From A Room, Vol. 1.
2nd Place - Dustin Lawson, "Fire Away"

Dustin Lawson's voice has an warmth and richness that made us listen to this cover several times. He really hits his stride when during the chorus of this tricky vocal song. Lawson's cover of "Fire Away" nabbed him $300, and a vinyl and cd copy of From A Room, Vol. 1.
3rd Place - Jim Lill, "Either Way"

"Either Way" is a delicate and sparse arrangement. Jim Lill had the idea to try something totally out of the box by giving the song a country-rock treatment. He performed all the parts on this cover, which is quite impressive. His unique arrangement and video earned him $100, along with a vinyl and cd copy of From A Room, Vol. 1.
Congrats to all of our winners, and a big thank you to everyone who submitted a cover. We hope to run another cover contest soon.
