The Recording Academy and MusiCares named Parton the honoree for the 29th annual gala. The country legend was honored for her philanthropy as well as her career as a country music trailblazer.
Norah Jones, Shawn Mendes, Pink, Mark Ronson and Lauren Daigle are also among the performers for the concert event, which took place in Los Angeles.
The "Coat of Many Colors" singer also took the stage at the gala, which benefits MusiCares, an organization which provides assistance for those in the music community in times of need. Rolling Stone reports that the event raised $6.7 million for MusiCares.
Past MusiCares honorees include Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Aretha Franklin, Bono and Fleetwood Mac. Aerosmith was honored in 2020.
