May 9th was clearly a highly anticipated stop for Justin Timberlake on his current Man of the Woods tour. Originally hailing from Memphis, Timberlake now has a home outside of Nashville, and judging from his connection to country music and cheering for the Preds, he adores his new hometown.

While the Man of the Woods Tour has visual surprises like artificial trees and grass to conjure up an image of the great outdoors, along with an actual campfire Timberlake uses to sit around and perform acoustic covers, Timberlake's Nashville tour date also had a surprise guest -- none other than Chris Stapleton.
The audience when wild when they saw Stapleton coming up on stage with Timberlake to perform their single "Say Something," a standout track on Timberlake's Man of the Woods record released in February. And to everyone's delight, Stapleton stuck around to sing "Tennessee Whiskey" with Timberlake, as well.

Fan videos excitedly taken and uploaded to Instagram show that while Timberlake and Stapleton have different styles, they complement each other with a deep love for music that's a joy to watch. You will also notice Timberlake's impressive backing band, The Tennessee Kids, who help Timberlake to capture the huge audience in the Bridgestone Arena.
Timberlake didn't hide that he loved collaborating with Stapleton, and he even made him an offer on stage that Stapleton couldn't refuse...

You can catch Chris Stapleton on tour this summer with Marty Stuart and Brent Cobb. Maybe Justin Timberlake will show up somewhere along the way for another jam session.
