Chris Stapleton, Maren Morris to Perform With Mavis Staples at CMA Awards

The performance lineup for the CMA Awards just keeps getting better and better. Among the newly announced performances is a collaboration between Chris Stapleton, Maren Morris and legendary R&B and gospel singer Mavis Staples.

Other newly announced performers include Ricky Skaggs, Lauren Alaina and CMA awards co-host Brad Paisley.

The latest round of performers joins previously announced artists Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Dan + Shay, Old Dominion, Miranda Lambert, Garth BrooksLuke Combs, Brett Young, Jason Aldean, Midland, Kacey Musgraves, Pistol Annies, Thomas Rhett, Dierks Bentley and Brothers Osborne and Florida Georgia Line and Bebe Rexha.

Vince Gill, Marty Stuart, Lindsay Ell, Ashley McBryde, Jon Pardi, Chris Janson, Sierra Hull, David Lee Murphy, Carson Peters and Cole Swindell will also appear during the award ceremony broadcast.

Stapleton leads this year's CMA nominations with seven nominations. The "Tennessee Whiskey" singer is nominated for Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, Single of the Year and Song of the Year (for "Broken Halos") and Album of the Year (for From A Room: Vol 2).

Morris is nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year and Musical Event of the Year for her collaboration with Vince Gill on "Dear Hate."

Skaggs was recently inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame just months after he was inducted into the Bluegrass Hall of Fame.

The CMA Awards will air on Nov. 14 on ABC at 7 p.m. CT. Paisley and Carrie Underwood will co-host the ceremony, marking their 11th consecutive year as hosts.
