Cinnamon Pumpkin Bread
This Cinnamon Pumpkin Bread makes your entire house smell like fall when it bakes. Make it for your friends and family when they visit!
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup canned pumpkin
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350ºF and coat a loaf pan with cooking spray.
- In a medium bowl mix together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir to combine. Add the eggs, canned pumpkin, and vegetable oil and stir.
- Pour into the loaf pan and bake until a toothpick inserted comes out clean, about 1 hour. Let cool in pan for 20 minutes before removing from pan and cooling completely.
Notes
Add a bit of nuttiness to your bread by folding in 1/2 cup of chopped pecans.
Serve with butter and jam if desired.
