Cody Johnson rode off triumphantly on horseback after his show at the Houston Rodeo on Wednesday.

The country singer was likely taking a cue from George Strait, who often leaves his arena and rodeo shows on horseback.
Johnson is no stranger to riding horseback. Before he launched his music career, he worked as horseback guard at a correctional facility in East Texas.

An estimated 60,000 people were in attendance at NRG Stadium to watch the show last night.
This was the first time Johnson has performed at the Houston Rodeo. He filled in for Old Dominion's performance slot this week after the band announced a death in one of their families.
Johnson is currently on tour in support of his album, Gotta Be Me.
