Jimmy Fallon figured out a perfect way to humorously honor his all-military audience during Fleet Week on Thursday night. Fallon brought out Darius Rucker to perform a parody of Hootie & the Blowfish's mid-90s hit "Only Wanna Be With You," this time titled "Only Wanna Thank the Troops."
Before even hitting play on the video, you can probably already hear the lyrics "I only wanna thank the troops" sung over the template of the iconic chorus of "Only Wanna Be With You," and Fallon and Rucker's vocals don't disappoint. The cover/parody sounds downright delightful filled with jokes appealing to their audience full of service men and women who are letting loose with a much deserved night filled with laughs.

"You serve with bravery, you serve with style/ You serve with six pack abs, I can barely run a mile," Fallon sang as Rucker joins him in singing "Well, we owe it all to you/I only wanna thank the troops."
But Rucker didn't only stop by to give the sharply dressed audience a laugh, he also performed "For the First Time," the first track off of his 2017 record When Was The Last Time.
