With most single releases, artists get an opportunity to film music videos and craft a visual component to a song. For his new single "Woman, Amen," Dierks Bentley chose to shine a light on an inspiring relationship between mother and daughter.

The clip starts by interviewing Jennifer Floyd, who is detailing the complications her daughter Sydnee felt at birth. "I never really wanted to have a kid," Jennifer says. "It's probably my biggest fear."
But when Jennifer gave birth to Sydnee, her world changed. The family moved from Kentucky to Nashville. Unfortunately, Sydnee eventually experienced bullying in school.

Showing incredible resilience, the 13-year-old Sydnee chose to immerse herself in charity work among the community. She focused in particular on helping the homeless. Bentley's video details her selflessness and the bond between Sydnee and Jennifer.
And of course, he and his band also perform the song out in the middle of the Colorado mountains. Because, you know, the name of the album is The Mountain. Dierks Bentley invited Jennifer and Sydnee to be part of the video by showing up unannounced to a homeless drive in Nashville.
Watch the video below, which Bentley filmed with longtime collaborator Wes Edwards.
"Woman, Amen" Lyrics
If I faced one day on my own
I know I was saved
The night that she gave this drifter's heart a home
Lord knows how lucky I am
I'll never say near enough
Thank God for this woman, Amen
I've been broken again and again
But I need all the cracks in my shattered heart
'Cause that's where her love gets in
Lord knows how lucky I am
I'll never say near enough
Thank God for this woman, Amen
She gives me grace
She gives me hope
She gives me strength
She gives me love
Love without end
Thank God for this woman, Amen
Forgiveness of sin in your undying love
Every twist, every turn for the way you made sure
All my roads led to her
