New Disney Beignets Feature Fireball Whiskey
The pillowy doughnuts are fried and topped with Red Tamales candies and a sweet cinnamon sauce. But the fun doesn't stop there. The beignets also come with a pipette filled with Fireball whiskey, which you can either take a shot of or squeeze into your treat. And the best part is that you get two of the treats for $9.99.
There's also new Red Hot Mickey Beignets for the little ones. They are alcohol-free and Mickey-shaped, making them a fun and spicy treat for adventurous eaters. At $2.99 they are a steal.
Beignets at Walt Disney World Resort
Let it be known these beignets are not found in any of the theme parks but rather at Disney's Port Orleans Resort, which is located close to Magic Kingdom. The entire resort has a New Orleans feel and they sell beignets year-round.
Up until last year the fried dough was available at the Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory. Now it has moved to its new home right down the hallway and during the move added some special changes to the menu including chocolate, cinnamon sugar, and raspberry flavors all topped with a healthy dose of powdered sugar. You can even order a beignet sundae complete with your choice of ice cream, dipping sauces (salted caramel, chicory coffee ganache, or strawberry), whipped cream, and lots of powdered sugar.
Pop into the club after 11 am and grab one of the new boozy beignets filled with Baileys, Kahlúa, or RumChata. Now that's Disney magic.
