Best of all, it's a yummy cocktail recipe to make for a crowd at your next backyard BBQ or Cinco de Mayo party.

It's exactly like the Bud Light Lime-a-rita, a malt beverage that combines the taste of beer with the flavor of an authentic margarita. And because you are making it yourself, you know exactly what is in it. Most malt liquor alcoholic beverages like the mang-o-rita, lemon-ade-rita, straw-ber-rita and peach-a-rita are filled with tons of sugar. That sugar makes hangovers so much worse!

This might be the easiest of all easy recipes. You need four things: tequila, frozen limeade concentrate, light beer and lime wedges. Stir all the ingredients except the lime wedges together in a large pitcher. Add ice to mason jars or margarita glasses, then pour the liquid mix over the ice cubes. Garnish with the lime wedges and then enjoy your summer cocktail!

If you like, you can add kosher salt to the rim of the glasses. Lager-style beers work well in this lime-a-rita recipe, but any light beer will work. The recipe makes eight servings; double it for a larger crowd or if you want to enjoy a margarita moment.
