Spend a warm (or cool) day at a Disney Resort and you'll run across a crowd of people spooning down a yellow-and-white swirled ice cream concoction. With a cult-like following, the famous Dole Whip has been around since the 1980s, available outside the Enchanted Tiki Room attraction. Served up either as a swirl, by itself, or in a float of pineapple juice, the fruity pineapple soft serve always boasts a line and has even inspired a line of Disney merchandise.

Now you don't have to buy a ticket to Disney to enjoy the refreshing taste of Dole Whip. New Dole Spoonable Smoothies, which can be found in the freezer aisle of your grocery store, is coming soon and we can't wait to dig in.

The smoothies, which will be available in both strawberry banana and pineapple banana, feature crunchy toppings and are both under 200 calories. The Strawberry Banana smoothie features a topping of ripe strawberries and toasted granola while the pineapple banana smoothie is topped with sweet pineapple and crunchy granola. Your breakfast just got a whole lot fruitier.
To enjoy, simply remove the new spoonable smoothie bowl from the freezer and let thaw for 30 minutes or better yet, pop the smoothie in the microwave for 30 seconds. This lets your smoothie come to a spoonable consistency and thaw the frozen toppings.
The idea for these smoothie bowls came after the trend of açai bowls hit social media. "What began as a trend with açai bowls has translated into a broader smoothie bowl trend. We're seeing them pop up all over Instagram and Pinterest as consumers hunt for a delicious new take on fruit for breakfast," says Erin Fasano, Director of Marketing, Frozen, at Dole Packaged Foods. "Recognizing consumer demand for a delicious, no-prep, no-mess smoothie option, we developed Dole Spoonable Smoothies to serve that need."
The smoothies are said to be hitting stores soon and will be available for the low price of $3.59.
