Parton is one of many artists featured on Rainbow, the follow-up to her 2012 hit album, Warrior. Dolly will join forces with Kesha for a duet version of her 1980 track "Old Flames Can't Hold a Candle to You," which originally featured Merle Haggard. Kesha, a Nashville native, previously released a solo acoustic rendition of the tune for her 2013 EP, Deconstructed.
Rainbow, due out Aug. 11, is being released after a drawn-out legal battle with her music producer, Lukasz Gottwald. In 2014, Kesha filed a lawsuit accusing Gottwald of sexual assault and harassment. Gottwald recently parted ways with the label. The legal battle restricted Kesha from releasing any new music over the past two years.

Dolly Parton was also recently featured on Brandi Carlile's album, Cover Stories. The release is a musical tribute to Carlile's landmark 2007 record The Story, and Parton's incredible cover of its title track is sure to give you chills. Likewise, we expect her mash-up with Kesha to be just as exciting.
