Dolly Parton is bringing a bit of glitter to the NFL this year. The Dallas Cowboys and NFL shared a joint video to share the news. The clip opens with Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders "bedazzling" a football, helmet and a Salvation Army donation bucket. It then shows a bedazzled "Parton" Cowboys jersey before the singer herself appears on the screen.

"I'll see y'all this Thanksgiving!" she says, wearing a glittery "Coach" outfit and visor. She then rings a rhinestoned Salvation Army bell to end the clip.

A caption alongside the video confirms her performance on the halftime show at 3:30 p.m. CST.

The performance will not only offer entertainment to football fans on Thanksgiving Day, but it serves to kick off The Salvation Army's 133rd Red Kettle Campaign, which collects donations for those in need during the holiday season.

"Wow! What an honor to get to kick off The Salvation Army's Red Kettle Campaign with the halftime show during the Dallas Cowboys game this Thanksgiving," Parton said in a press release. "Those Red Kettles have long been a symbol of hope for our friends and neighbors who are facing hard times. My goal is to encourage everyone who can to donate and support their neighbors in need. Every small act of generosity helps, and together, we can all love our neighbors this holiday season and beyond."

Charlotte Jones, executive vice president and chief brand officer for the Dallas Cowboys, also commented on the news.

"Dolly's contagious energy and positive spirit are just what we need to support The Salvation Army's enormous effort to make this holiday bright for millions of individuals and families in need," said Jones. "Dolly's music has a way of inspiring hope, and we're thrilled to have her on our national stage to spotlight the campaign this year."

The Salvation Army has partnered with the Dallas Cowboys for the Red Kettle Kickoff for 27 years. The campaign provides Christmas gifts, food, shelter, and rent and utility assistance to families across the country during the holiday season. Parton will reportedly play her biggest hits as well as songs from her upcoming Rockstar album, out November 17.
