Back in October, Donna Kelce appeared on Today to discuss her son Travis' relationship with Taylor Swift. Donna's among the suite mates of Swift whenever the singer's caught one of Travis' home games for the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs. Naturally, Donna got asked if the famous footage of her and Swift rooting for the defending Super Bowl champions was from the first day they met.

"It's fairly new, so I don't like to talk about it," Donna said. "It's just one of those things where everyone saw me. I was in the boxes with her. It's another thing that's amped up my life."
When quizzed about what it was like to spend quality time with one of the biggest celebrities on the planet, Donna simply replied, that "it was okay."

The Wall Street Journal's recent feature on Travis reported that "Donna Kelce still berates herself for how she handled a question about Taylor on the "Today" show." Per the story, Donna was "trying not to sound too enthusiastic" yet "came off underwhelmed."
In the same WSJ feature, Donna shared a more detailed take on Swift.
"I can tell you this. He's happier than I've seen him in a long time," she said. "God bless him, he shot for the stars."
Travis is close with his parents as well as his older brother, Philadelphia Eagles star and People's Sexiest Man Alive honoree Jason. As he's gotten to know Swift, Travis has been won over by her comparable connections with her kinfolks.
"Everybody knows I'm a family guy. Her team is her family," Travis said. "Her family does a lot of stuff in terms of the tour, the marketing, being around, so I think she has a lot of those values as well, which is right up my alley."
