The Eagles Add Additional Tour Dates with Vince Gill, Deacon Frey

Legendary rock band the Eagles have announced tour dates for their An Evening With the Eagles Tour this Fall. The tour features country singer Vince Gill as well as Deacon Frey, the 24 year old son of Glenn Frey, the band's late lead singer.

Starting on Saturday (Aug. 19) fans can purchase tickets to shows this fall. American Express card holders have the opportunity to purchase tickets early, starting tomorrow, Tuesday (Aug. 15).

The An Evening With the Eagles Tour will hit seven states and the tourist destination of Riviera Maya in Mexico.

Though the world tragically lost Eagles founding member Glenn Frey last year, the band has soldiered on. They recently chose to include Frey's 24-year-old son, Deacon, in their lineup. So far, it seems to have been a really good decision.

Deacon resembles his father in both appearance and sound. He made quite an impact on KTLA last month when anchors suggested he "knocked it out of the park" during his performance at Dodger Stadium. It was the first show the band had played since Glenn's death.

The Eagles played a tribute to their lost member at the Grammys. "I think it was an appropriate farewell," Don Henley told the BBC after the performance. "I don't think you'll see us performing again."

However, he backpedaled on that sentiment last month. "While I was still in shock during some interviews after Glenn passed away, I did say that I thought that was the end of the band, but I reserve the right to change my mind," he told the LA Times. "Ralph Waldo Emerson said, 'A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds.'"
