Earlier this month, Eric Church leaked a snippet of his soothing new song, "Some of It." As he promised, his fan club, the Church Choir, received the first taste of the track. A day later, he posted the clip to Instagram for all to hear.

"Some of it, you learn the hard way/ Some of it, you read on a page / Some of it comes from heartbreak / Most of it comes with age / And none of it ever comes easy/ A bunch of it, you maybe can't use/ I know I don't probably know what I think I do/ But there's something to some of it," Church sings in the introspective sing-along tune.
"Some of It" is the second track Church has given fans from his upcoming new album, Desperate Man. Last month, he released the title track of the record along with a video featuring himself and Ray Wylie Hubbard distributing quality country music like criminals over the backdrop of a funky, lively track.

While Church owns 2,000 acres of land outside of Nashville near the Cumberland River, Rolling Stone writes that he wrote most of his upcoming album in his cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Inspiration hung on the walls in the form of acoustic guitars owned by his idols Eric Clapton and Waylon Jennings.
Church's lengthy Rolling Stone interview included the singer discussing his near-death experience and his feelings surrounding the shooting in Las Vegas that took place only two nights after he headlined the Route 91 Harvest Festival.
Church's new album Desperate Man will be released on October 5. Members of the Church Choir will automatically receive his new music. You can join the fan club through EricChurch.com.
