The lodge is the guest house on the Drummond estate, and it's also the filming location of The Pioneer Woman show. The Drummonds occasionally open it up for guest tours, and they're about to start up again.
Visitors can tour the lodge from 9 a.m to 4 p.m. on Oct. 16-21, Oct. 23-28, and Oct. 30 through Nov. 4. For tickets and directions, guests need to visit Drummond's bakery and store, known as The Mercantile (affectionately called "The Merc").
Drummond didn't plan to be the Pioneer Woman, she started out as a black pump wearing sushi eating career woman in California. That lifestyle ended for the red-haired Oklahoma native however when she met her husband, a "rugged cowboy" from her hometown. She turned her country life and ranch home into a successful blog that has a worldwide readership, and soon, you can go see part of it for yourself.
