To date, Farm Aid has raised over $53 million to support family farmers and agriculture in America. The first Farm Aid concert was held in 1985 in Illinois with Bob Dylan, Merle Haggard, Don Henley and Johnny Cash taking the stage to promote the cause. Thirty-three years later, amazing musicians (many with country backgrounds) continue to headline this historic and iconic fest taking place in Connecticut for the first time this year.

Willie Nelson, along with the other Farm Aid board members -- Neil Young, John Mellencamp and Dave Matthews (performing with Tim Reynolds) — will play at this year's festival. They will be joined by other major acts like Chris Stapleton, Margo Price, Kacey Musgraves, Sturgill Simpson, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real and Particle Kid, and Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats.
