Every Friday, Wide Open Country rounds up the past week's most stunning fashion statements from the wide world of entertainment. This round of picks includes red carpet-stealing moments from film and television premieres, yet another variant of Lainey Wilson's rural hippie aesthetic and a very fairycore era for Taylor Swift.

Here are five head-turning looks since last Saturday (July 8).
Sara Bareilles' Simple Take on Vintage Geek Chic
Sometimes, less is more when it comes to eye-catching fashion— especially if the eyes being caught know how to shop for vintage looks on a budget. By no means would Sara Bareilles' exact outfit from Monday's (July 10) New York City premiere of the film Theater Camp come super cheap, but you can easily thrift your way to the geek chic vibe captured by the singer's Charlie Brown sweatshirt and long, tiered, floral skirt.
Issa Rae's Presidential Barbiecore Dress
For the Sunday (July 9) world premiere of likely summer blockbuster Barbie, Issa Rae wore a jaw-dropping pink velvet dress. The Marc Bouwer gown is both elegant and —thanks to the oversized bow around Rae's neck— adorable. Stylist Wouri Vice told The Cut that the entire outfit was inspired by Michelle Obama. Rae isn't the first lady in the film, though. She stars as President Barbie.
Red Carpet Queen Nicole Kidman
Few stun on film, television or country music industry-related red carpets quite like Nicole Kidman. She kept her crown on Tuesday (July 11) at a London screening of the Paramount+ original series Special Ops: Lioness. A Saint Laurent black halterneck cutout gown screams classic Hollywood glamor. It's accentuated by sheer, elbow-length gloves and a pair of point-toe sandals.
Taylor Swift's Fairycore Era
Fairycore —or fairy cottagecore, depending on the online source— takes timeless looks in a mystical direction. One of Taylor Swift's wardrobe changes during her Eras Tour sets could go next to either in the pop subcultural dictionary. This flower petal and sequin-accentuated Alberta Ferretti original gives off Tinkerbell and belle of the ball vibes in equal doses. Fittingly, Swift wears it while revisiting songs from her folklore album.
The photo above was snapped last Saturday (July 8) at Kansas City, Mo.'s Arrowhead Stadium.
Lainey Wilson: Bell-Bottom Pants Chameleon
Bell-bottom pants have become as synonymous with Lainey Wilson as stone-cold country classics. That's not to say that her outfits can easily be predicted. Those flared britches' fabrics and colors vary, as seen in this snapshot from her Tuesday (July 11) visit to Sirius XM's Nashville, Tenn. studio. Slightly-faded denim jeans pair with a snakeskin-patterned top for a rural hippie vibe that's old-fashioned yet fashion-forward.
