If sipping on a margarita, munching on a gourmet taco topped with guacamole, all while dipping your toes in the ocean sounds like your idea of a good time, it looks like you might want to book some tickets to the Caribbean ASAP. Lime-Out, the first solar-powered floating taco and cocktail bar, located near St. John, in the U.S. Virgin Islands (that's right, no passport needed!), is a one-of-a-kind bar you have to visit.

The new eatery opened in March and has been a popular hot spot since. According to the company, the easiest way to reach the floating taco and cocktail bar is by personal boat. They also suggest renting paddle boards, kayaks, and peddle boats to reach the bar safely. And since the bar is located in the middle of the water swimming up to the floating bar isn't much of an option and poses a safety risk for nearby boats.
It's the First of its Kind
Once you reach the floating taco bar, jump out and make your way to the swim-up bar complete with barstools that allow you to float in the water. Grab a waterproof menu and hang out. Lime-Out offers items like citrus-marinated ceviche, green curry chicken, and rum ribs, as well as vegan options. If you are feeling thirsty you can grab favorite cocktails as well as fruit-filled rum drinks.
The bar is completely solar-powered and features two sides: one to hang out on floats and another for boat pull-ups grabbing to-go orders. It's like their version of an ocean drive-thru or a food truck.
The bar is complete with cups, menus, and packaging all made from recyclable or biodegradable materials. The bar doesn't give out straws with their craft cocktails and sells reusable souvenir tumblers for guests to bring home.
All you need to do now is book that plane ticket.
