The band contributed the money to the Las Vegas Victims' Fund, which was established by the Clark County, Nevada Commissioner in response to the tragedy.
"Let's give the hurt families one less thing to worry about in this time of distress," the post stated. The pair went on to challenge several other artists including Thomas Rhett, Luke Bryan and Tim McGraw to make donations.
McGraw and his wife, Faith Hill, shared their sympathies on Instagram as well. The couple previously held a Las Vegas residency at the Venetian in 2013.

"We were so shocked and saddened to hear about the tragedy in Las Vegas last night," the band also stated in a post to their Instagram account. "Praying for everyone affected. Let's spread love today and help those we can."
The death toll from the shooting currently stands at 59, with over 500 people injured. It now ranks as the worst mass shooting in the history of the United States.
