What is the National League of Junior Cotillions?

Established in 1989, the National League of Junior Cotillions is a program that teaches children ages 6-18 about proper manners, character, and courtsey in order to build confident, self-assured, and influential adults in our communities. In younger age groups, teachers teach students how to set the table, how to give and receive compliments, and polite conversation. High schoolers are taught how to dress for job interviews, how to apply for loans, how to register to vote and how to pay utilities. Throughout the teaching journey, possessing good manners are always key.

The Pioneer Woman, She's Just Like Us

One look at The Food Network Star and blogger's Instagram and you'll understand right away why this Ranch wife is down-to-earth. Along with pictures of delicious home cooking and comfort food, she also dedicates much of her social feed to Ladd, (her Marlboro Man), their children and their basset hounds. Most recently the country girl shared a throwback photo of herself at age 13 to celebrate her birthday. Rather than gush over herself, she took the time to look back and celebrate a time forgotten.

There's always a chance to catch a peek at Pioneer Woman Ree Drummond when visiting the Mercantile, or while taking a tour of her family's ranch. Visitors are quick to share that the cookbook author and food blogger is even sweeter in person.
