The TWRA only plants the beautiful sunflowers every other year so you have to plan accordingly. If you miss out on the festival, unfortunately, you'll have to wait until 2021 to be able to see them again. It makes the festival that much more special every time it comes around. The festivities will go from 9 am to noon at 140 McClure Lane. The guided tour through the fields of flowers is scheduled for 10:30 am and is completely free to the public. Charge your phones because seeing the sunflowers in full bloom is a swoon-worthy Instagram opportunity that you absolutely have to take advantage of.

The flowers are planted on the sunflower farm to help feed the various species of birds and wildlife local to the area. So come on out, support the local wildlife, and take all of the summer photos you could possibly want. This would be a perfect opportunity for family photos that you'll love and cherish for years to come. And where else could you find such a stunning backdrop full of sunflowers as far as the eye can see?

Anyone interested in attending the third Sunflower Festival should make note that no parking will be available on the road or private property without permission from the landowner. So make sure you plan ahead to figure out where you can park, and maybe get there early to avoid any parking traffic from the rest of the crowd.
