Additions to this year's CMA Fest are still happening as the huge downtown Nashville event running this Thursday to Sunday swiftly approaches. Garth Brooks didn't want to miss out on all the fun, so he announced on his weekly Facebook Live show, Inside Studio G, that he's planning on taking part in a live Q&A session on the CMA Close Up Stage at Xfinity Fan Fair X.

Attendees holding one of the four-day passes can access Fan Fair X inside of the Music City Center, which holds exciting activities like meet and greets, exhibitors, shopping and games. In addition to the convention-like atmosphere, there will be three stages: Radio Disney Country, CMA Spotlight Stage and the CMA Close Up Stage.
Brooks, who's working on a live record, new music and new tour in 2019, will take a seat on the Close Up Stage for an hour on Saturday at 12:15 p.m. across from SiriusXM host Storme Warren who many will know from his work on Channel 56, The Highway. Warren will volley questions pulled from the audience to Brooks who is sure to answer with his usual heartfelt gusto.

It will probably come as no surprise that Brooks is already a Fan Fair legend. In 1996, he signed autographs for fans for a solid 23-hours without a break. And last year, Brooks surprised country music fans at Nissan Stadium by walking on stage playing "The Thunder Rolls" followed by a completely unannounced 30-minute set as the reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year.
Dustin Lynch takes the spot of Artist of the Day the hour before Garth Brooks' Q&A on Saturday, followed by an interview with Hunter Hayes. Needless to say, Saturday will be a busy, packed day at Fan Fair X. Other artists who will have a heart-to-heart with the CMA Fest audience on the Close Up Stage this year include Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan and Kelsea Ballerini.
A limited number of four-day access passes are still up for grabs at cmafest.com/tickets. Be sure to check the CMA Fest schedule to see the star-studded lineup of nightly concerts.
