Garth Brooks Tears Up While Talking About Trisha Yearwood on 'The Kelly Clarkson Show'

"It's such a beautiful love between the two of you."

The love Garth Brooks has for his wife Trisha Yearwood is apparent in everything he does, and he let it shine especially bright during a recent interview with Kelly Clarkson. On Monday's (Nov. 20) episode of "The Kelly Clarkson Show," Brooks joined the singer/talk show host for a conversation about gratitude called "Gratitude with Garth."

When chatting about Thanksgiving plans, he started by praising Yearwood's exceptional cooking skills, calling her "one of the greatest cooks on the planet." Brooks then reflected on what he's thankful for, and Yearwood — who he often calls "The Queen" — and his daughters topped the list.

"When it comes to the future, I think what you're just grateful for is just one more day, right? Of getting to do this," Brooks told Clarkson. "What I'd love to say is the day I take my last breath on this planet, I'd love for my three girls to be around me and I'd love for the queen to be around me."

He began tearing up as he continued to speak about the loving bond he shares with Yearwood.

"I found her in the past life; I'll find her in the next," he said.

His comments elicited a strong "Aw" from the crowd, and Clarkson, who was clearly struck by his words, pretended the end the show right there. She also joked that she's going to "cry at lunch" thanks to his sweet remarks.

Brooks continued to get emotional as Clarkson responded.

"It's such a beautiful love between the two of you. It is," Clarkson said, before starting to cry herself. "You're tearing up and you're making me tear up and my makeup artist is going to kill me!"

Brooks appeared on the show days before opening his new Friends in Low Places Bar & Honky-Tonk in Nashville, Tenn. The bar and venue officially opens on Black Friday, Nov. 24, and he will christen the opening with the first-ever first-ever Black Friday Amazon Music Live special. The show streams on Amazon and Twitch Friday at 7 p.m. ET.
