The album will be released on March 29 on MCA Nashville and includes 12 new songs and one cover ("Old Violin," originally written and recorded by Johnny Paycheck).
The album also includes "Sing One With Willie," which George Strait and Willie Nelson debuted at last month's Willie Nelson tribute concert.
There are eight songs co-written by George Strait, including "Código," which Strait penned with his son, Bubba Strait, and Dean Dillon.
On the day of the announcement (Feb. 1), Strait released his new song "God and Country Music," written by Lori McKenna, Luke Laird and Barry Dean. The song features Strait's grandson, Harvey Strait.
Fittingly, the Texas legend pays tribute to an iconic Texas landmark on the album cover: the Broken Spoke, the beloved, long-running Austin, Texas honky tonk.
