The King of Country is headed to K.C. George Strait announced that he'll make a stop at Kansas City, Missouri's Sprint Center on Jan. 25, 2020 for his "Strait to the Heartland" show.

Tickets for the event start at $75 and go on sale on May 17.
The announcement of the show precedes a busy summer for the country legend. On June 8, Strait will headline the Buckeye Country Superfest in Columbus, Ohio. On August 17, he'll play Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass. with Blake Shelton, Cody Johnson and Caitlyn Smith. In November, the country legend will play his home state at the new Dickie's arena in Fort Worth, Texas.

Strait released his new album Honky Tonk Time Machine in March. The album includes 12 new songs and one cover ("Old Violin," originally written and recorded by Johnny Paycheck). Strait previously released "God and Country Music," "Código," "Every Little Honky Tonk Bar," "The Weight of the Badge," and the title track. The album also includes "Sing One With Willie," which George Strait and Willie Nelson debuted at the Willie Nelson tribute concert earlier this year.
Strait's current single, "Every Little Honky Tonk Bar," currently sits at No. 17 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.
