Jake Owen just released a new music video for his song "Good Company," and man, did he pick the right job. In the clip, Owen and friends take a trip to the Bahamas.

Yep, the whole video shoot is basically just Owen and his buddies palling around. First they board up the plane. Then, they bust out the guitar. And then, well, the island life takes over.
Fishing, coconuts, beach time, snorkeling, playing music for the locals. Even a little one-on-one basketball action. Owen tackles it all in the laid back, feel good anthem. He even gives away a pair of autographed headphones to one of the school kids. Not to be outdone, they autograph his guitar for him. Talk about good memories.
But Owen's good company notably doesn't involve a special someone just yet. Even though he invented a new meaning for the acronym "B.Y.O.B." (bring yourself over babe).
Needless to say, Owen picked a pretty good concept for the music video. At least from his perspective. Heck, it's almost enough to make us want to write a song like that ourselves. Almost. Check out the summer anthem below.
Owen released "Good Company" on his most recent album, American Love. Matt Alderman, Tommy Cecil and Jared Mullins wrote the song, which comes as the third single off the album.

Owen's first single, "American Country Love Song" hit No. 1 on the Billboard charts. But follow-up single "If He Ain't Gonna Love You" didn't do as well, despite coming from the pens of Chris Stapleton, Luke Laird and Shane McAnally. That tune peaked at No. 37 before Owen came out with this latest one.
Jake Owen has stayed busy since the album release. The singer is heading out across the country for tour dates throughout the summer, which is really when he shines.
