From good witches to family-friendly ghosts, here are 13 Hallmark Halloween movies that will give you a festive fix this season.
The Good Witch (2008)
We can't talk Hallmark Halloween movies without mentioning the Good Witch series. In this initial TV movie, Catherine Bell started starring as Cassie Nightingale, a beautiful and mysterious woman who moves into a town's haunted mansion—leaving everyone to wonder if she's a witch.
The fantasy film was so successful that Hallmark has continued to bring Cassie back for several more movies, including The Good Witch's Garden, The Good Witch's Gift, The Good Witch's Family, The Good Witch's Charm, The Good Witch's Destiny, The Good Witch's Wonder, Good Witch: Halloween, Good Witch: Secrets of Grey House, Good Witch: Spellbound, Good Witch: Tale of Two Hearts, Good Witch: Curse From a Rose—and a comedy-drama series titled Good Witch.
Growing the Big One (2010)
Is there a better place to meet someone than a pumpkin patch? When radio host Emma Silver (Shannen Doherty) unexpectedly inherits her grandfather's pumpkin farm, she doesn't anticipate falling for his handsome neighbor (Kavan Smith)—or entering the local pumpkin-growing competition. But after her company fires her, she's forced to not only take over the farm but grow a pumpkin big enough to win first prize.
Oliver's Ghost (2011)
It's not every day that you find a ghost in your attic. But when young Oliver (Nicholas Stargel) discovers one is living in his family's new home, he quickly learns that the spirit (played by Martin Mull) hates Halloween. Together, the pair bond over their similar struggles, and the ghost—whose name is Clive—helps the boy reconnect with the living.
Midnight Masquerade (2014)
Is there a more romantic setting than a masquerade ball? We don't think so. And neither does Elyse (Autumn Reeser), a rich heiress who falls head over tiara for a dashing, bullied lawyer named Rob (Christopher Russell) who's defending her candy company in a lawsuit. While it seems like love is in the air, Elyse won't know for sure until he makes his move at the upcoming costume ball.
October Kiss (2015)
Poppy Summerall (Ashley Williams) has no idea who she is or what she wants to do. So when her penchant for job-hopping lands her the classic Hallmark gig of a nanny for a handsome yet busy widower, Ryan Larson (Sam Jaeger), she's determined to make the most of it. But as she discovers how much she likes taking care of kids—and how devilishly charming their dad is—she realizes that she may want a more permanent position.
Harvest Moon (2015)
If you're itching for that classic city-girl-meets-country-boy story, then this romantic comedy is for you. When Jenny (Jessy Schram) is forced to fix up a struggling pumpkin farm that her father bought as an investment property, she quickly learns that the landscape of the countryside—and the farm's charming manager Brett (Jesse Hutch)—are far more inviting than she expected.
Pumpkin Pie Wars (2016)
You can't have a cute Hallmark love story without a "fight" over baked goods. In this cozy movie, opposites attract when the owners of two local bakeries—Casey McArthy (Julie Gonzalo) and Sam Harper (Rico Aragon)—compete in the same pumpkin pie baking contest that resulted in their fall out a decade ago. But the bad blood is no match for sugar, butter, and some very clear chemistry.
Falling for Vermont (2017)
If you like your TV movie escapism to include some gorgeous fall scenery, you'll love Falling for Vermont. The film follows Angela (Julie Gonzalo), a best-selling author who gets into a car accident and suffers amnesia. With no idea who she is or where she calls home, she stumbles upon an idyllic Vermont town—and a hunky local doctor (Benjamin Ayres) who helps her find her way back.
Love, of Course (2018)
Fall festivals are primed for unexpected romance. And that's exactly what Amy Andolini (Kelly Rutherford) finds when she lands a job planning the town's annual harvest while also helping her daughter settle into college. Meeting a charismatic professor (Cameron Mathison) wasn't necessarily part of the plan, but when sparks start to fly, she quickly learns that sometimes the best surprises come in the most unexpected packages.
Love, Fall & Order (2019)
Apparently also titled Love, Inheritance and Lunch, this romantic tale also takes place during an annual fall festival. Clarie's (Erin Cahill) family actually hosts the festival on their pumpkin farm, but the lawyer's return home is anything but peaceful when she runs into her rival in the courtroom (Trevor Donovan). Will their feud stay on the job, or can they put it aside for something more sweet?
Sweet Autumn (2020)
When she inherits her late aunt's candy shop, Maggie (Nikki Deloach) can't understand why she has to share it with the town's local maple farmer, Dex (Andrew W. Walker). But a string of letters Aunt Dee left behind helps the two discover the true connection for her decision—and the true connection between them.
My Best Friend's Bouquet (2020)
Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants can step aside. A magical wedding bouquet that determines who's getting married next is the ultimate modern-day fairytale. So when the bouquet winds up in Josie's (Chaley Rose) hands at her best friend's wedding, she knows true love is right around the corner—but her unshakable belief in the flower arrangement keeps her from realizing that it's been there all along.
Pumpkin Everything (2022)
When Amy (Taylor Cole) returns to her hometown, she has one goal in mind: find her stubborn grandfather, who owns a pumpkin-themed store. But while the novelist is poking around and helping to run the shop, she runs into a man from her past and discovers that old wounds can still heal.
