Country duo Dan + Shay teamed up with vocal powerhouse Kelly Clarkson for their new track "Keeping Score." Written by band member Dan Smyers along with Jordan Reynolds and Laura Veltz, "Keeping Score" calls for living in the moment and appreciating the day-to-day life you get to spend with a partner.
"I just want to love you like it's all I'm living for," duo member Shay Mooney sings as Clarkson's voice soars. "Hold you close, enjoy you more and spend a little less time keeping score."
The song, released on June 15, will be included on the duo's upcoming self-titled album. The new album, which is out on June 22, is the Dan + Shay's third studio album and follow up to 2016's Obsessed. Their debut album Where It All Began was released in 2014.
This isn't the first time Kelly Clarkson has lent her vocals to a country track. The Grammy-winning Nashville resident has collaborated with Jason Aldean, Reba McEntire, Vince Gill and more.

The upcoming album will also include the duo's current hit "Tequila," which currently sits at No. 6 on Billboard's Country Airplay chart. Previously released songs "Speechless," "Alone Together" and "All to Myself" will also be included on the album.
Dan + Shay met in Nashville in 2012 when they were both writing for other artists. They released their debut single "19 You + Me" in 2013.
The duo will join Rascal Flatts' Back to Us Tour on June 28 in Virginia Beach, Va. They'll also appear at the Cavendish Beach Music Festival on July 9 along with Luke Bryan, Shawn Mendes, Brett Eldredge and more.
