If you don't, you're in luck because Bobby Parrish is here to help.

Home-cooking extraordinaire and YouTube phenom Bobby Parrish of FlavCity with Bobby Parrish knows his way around a kitchen. His videos highlight a colorful variety of foods including healthy meal prep ideas, salmon poke, and even chocolate avocado pudding. One of our favorite recipes that Parrish has come up with is for homemade marshmallows.

Following along with Parrish's FlavCity videos is quite easy, and he'll probably make you laugh along the way. His homemade marshmallows start by mixing sugar, corn syrup, and water. This will give you a concoction he refers to as sugar syrup.

Next, he whips together gelatin with water. He gradually mixes his sugar syrup in along with vanilla extract. After those are mixed together into an ooey, gooey, blissful mess, he lines a glass baking dish with corn starch and powdered sugar.

The ooey, gooey mixture of gelatin and sugar syrup is then spread in the baking dish and topped with more corn starch and powdered sugar. We'll call that his super secret seasoning.

After letting the mixture rest overnight, it solidifies. What's left is a blank canvas unlike any you've seen before. You can cut the marshmallows into any shape you'd like, using them in hot cocoa, tossing them over a campfire for s'mores, or incorporating them into any other marshmallow-requiring recipe.

We'll give a virtual high-five to the reader who tries this recipe and comes up with the most unique homemade marshmallow shape (real value: approximately zero dollars).
