Off State Highway 130 in Hutto, Texas, a gas station opened in January. That's not such big news unless you consider what kind of gas station it is. After the arrival of H-E-B Plus! on the block in November 2016, a portion of lot reserved for the gas station was still in construction. And then a Whataburger sign went up.

This H-E-B convenience store, one of only ten in the state, features a 24-hour Whataburger drive-through on one side of the building. The other side features a filling station with 10 gas pumps, a car wash, and both shops are open 24/7.
While Whataburger is the real draw here, it should be noted that the H-E-B convenience store isn't too shabby, either.
The shop features hand-rolled sushi, sandwiches, pizza, and traditional grab-and-go items. The first combination H-E-B and Whataburger in Central Texas, it's about 30 miles north of Austin.
Additionally, the H-E-B Plus! itself is the only store of H-E-B's 370 that has The Optical inside, the new optometrist shop from H-E-B that is similar to Lenscrafters.
The next time you plan a road trip, make sure you pass by this thing of beauty. It's worth it, trust me.
