Childhood Mister Rogers fan turned American Idol finalist, Dancing With the Stars winner and country star Kellie Pickler recorded a song closely associated with Fred Rogers, "It's Such a Good Feeling," for upcoming tribute album Thank You, Mister Rogers: Music & Memories.

Billboard shared a clip of the song last week (Oct. 18) in anticipation of the album's Oct. 25 release along with an interview with Pickler about an appreciation for Mister Rogers' Neighborhood that dates back to her years living with her grandparents in North Carolina.
"Doing this immediately took me back to my childhood," Pickler told Billboard. "My grandmother was very particular about what I was allowed to watch on TV, as grandmas should be. When I was with her she only wanted good things to be in front of me, and Mister Rogers was that safe place. It was for so many people, I think, a safe place."
Additional artists on the compilation include Pickler's fellow country stars Lee Greenwood and Rita Wilson, whose husband Tom Hanks plays Mister Rogers in the November biopic A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood.
Beyond his standard about the "happy feeling" that comes with a "snappy new day" that's been done justice by Pickler, Rogers wrote around 200 songs in his lifetime.
