Fast-food chain Jack in the Box has always gotten heat for their controversial tacos. Wall Street Journal reported that the burger place sells 1,000 tacos per minute- that's 554 million tacos a year. While the tacos are far from authentic (Have you ever seen a Mexican taco loaded with a slice of American cheese?), one thing Jack in the Box has over Taco Bell is the price. How can you go wrong with two tacos for 99 cents? Now the burger chain is expanding its taco menu to include tiny tacos for a limited time.

The new Jack in the Box tiny tacos are a miniature version of the original tacos and come complete with three dipping sauces: buttermilk ranch sauce, new creamy avocado lime sauce, and taco sauce. And the price doesn't hurt your wallet either. The chain is selling the tiny taco box for $5 and each box is packed with 25 crunchy tacos. Talk about a deal!

Currently, the new tiny tacos are only available in three cities: Austin, Texas, Dallas, Texas, and Fresno California. In California the chain is selling the bite-size tacos in sets of 15 for $3 and for an extra dollar, you can upgrade your meal. The upgraded loaded tiny tacos are served in stylish to-go containers and are topped with melty cheese, lettuce, and taco sauce on top.

The mini tacos will be available in the three cities until September 1, however, the company has yet to share if the tacos will be released nationwide in the coming months. I guess we will have to see if the tacos stand up the hype. So far people on Twitter have been sharing their thoughts, and most people are outraged that San Diego, the home of Jack in the Box wasn't included in the test market. Hopefully, Southern California will get a taste of these tacos soon.
