Nashville-based singer-songwriter James Dupré captures the realities of a small town breakup in "Home and Away," which centers on a football fan who no longer attends the local games because they remind him of his ex.

Dupré wanted to showcase a real small town Texas high school football team for the music video, which Wide Open Country is premiering today.
"This song is a story centered around high school football and a relationship gone wrong. When it came to making the video, especially the football scenes, I felt like a small town in Texas would be perfect," Dupré tells Wide Open Country. "I want to thank the Gordon High School football team for letting my team get some great action shots. I'm so happy with how it turned out and excited to share it with the world."
