Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit Announce Extensive 2018 Tour

Things kick off on Jan. 18 with a three-day occupancy at the Alabama Theatre. From there, he and the 400 Unit will be presenting their live performance chops to crowds throughout Arkansas, New York and many other states. Their tour is targeting mid-sized historical theatres and auditoriums such as Pittsburgh's Heinz Hall.

James McMurtry will act as the opening act for the entire tour. Much like Isbell, the singer-songwriter and actor is known for his unique brand of alternative country. He offers a rootsy songbook that represents the blue-collar workers of America, making him the perfect fit to tour alongside Isbell and his band.

This tour follows a year of notable successes with surrounding the release of Isbell's latest album, The Nashville Sound. Isbell made headlines when he received a CMA Award Album of the Year nomination for the record. The Nashville Sound hit the top of several Billboard charts upon its June release.
