Jeff Hyde has been earning his songwriting stripes in Nashville since 2001. The Marshall, Texas native churned out songs for artists like Alan Jackson, George Strait, Luke Bryan and Bobby Bare.

You also may be familiar with Hyde thanks to his work with Eric Church. In addition to touring as a guitarist and harmony vocalist for Church, he co-wrote two of the star's biggest songs in "Springsteen" and "Record Year."
And now, Hyde is stepping out to give life a whole host of songs that never got the green light from other artists. His upcoming album Norman Rockwell World highlights 10 of his favorites. He recently released "Cold" and "Henry Ford," and now he's ready to premiere the titular song "Norman Rockwell World."
Similar to Hyde's hits with Church, "Norman Rockwell World" anchors its strength in the power of nostalgia. Hyde, along with co-writers Clint Daniels and Michael Heeney, uses the famed imagery of American painter Norman Rockwell. Rockwell is known for iconic images like Rosie The Riveter, among many others.

Hyde tells Wide Open Country that "Norman Rockwell World" is among his favorite songs to be a part of.
"My good friend and co-writer Clint Daniels had this title the day we got together to write with Michael Heeney, also a good friend of ours and a wise old owl of songwriting prestige," Hyde says. "As we often do, we were talking about how life surely must've been simpler 50 years ago, and wondering how we ever drifted so far. I guess they were asking the same thing back then and probably will be 50 years from now. I'm glad Clint shared his idea with us that day. This is one of the songs I'm most proud to have been a part of."
"Norman Rockwell World" is the title track of Hyde's new album, which comes out on Feb. 23.
