Jerk Chicken Sliders with Mango Salsa
Travel to the islands with these Jerk Chicken Sliders. Served with a mango salsa, you can't just eat one of these sandwiches!
Ingredients
- 4 boneless chicken breasts
- 12 dinner rolls
For The Jerk Seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1/4 tsp ground allspice
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- pinch ground cinnamon
- 3 Tbsp olive oil
- salt and pepper to taste
For The Mango Salsa
- 2 mangos, diced
- 1/2 red onion, diced
- 2 Tbsp chopped cilantro
- 1 lime, juiced
- salt to taste
- lettuce
- tomato
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-heat.
- In a small bowl combine jerk seasoning mixture and rub on the chicken breasts. Drizzle with olive oil and grill until chicken is cooked through, about 15 minutes. Remove from grill and cut each chicken breast into 3 pieces.
- Meanwhile prepare the salsa by mixing together the mango, onion, cilantro, and lime juice in a small bowl.
- Prepare the sandwiches by slicing the rolls. Add a piece of chicken and top with lettuce and tomato. Serve with the mango salsa.
Notes
If you want your salsa a bit hotter, add 1/2 a jalapeño.
These sandwiches make a great game-day meal.
