Outlaw country legend Jessi Colter has teamed up with a fellow country queen for a brand new record. Margo Price recently shared that she's producing Colter's upcoming album.

Colter also shared an update on the forthcoming project. "(Price) & I recorded last week..she's the bomb producer & her band defied gravity," Colter wrote. "It was a dance. We did my original recent songs...with whole new sound."

The "I'm Not Lisa" singer is one of the most influential figures of the Outlaw Country movement. She was featured on the 1976 album Wanted! The Outlaws, the first country album to go platinum. Colter married Waylon Jennings in 1969 and gave birth to their son, Waylon Albright "Shooter" Jennings, in 1979.
Colter released the gospel album The Psalms in 2017. The same year, she released the book An Outlaw and A Lady: A Memoir of Music, Life with Waylon, and the Faith that Brought Me Home.
Price released her album All American Made in 2017.
