This couple at an Ohio senior living facility proves that age doesn't limit love and you're never too old to find the right one. Last year, John and Phyllis Cook -- 100 and 103 years old, respectively -- became newlyweds after a year of dating. Their relationship has been trending on social media, which goes to show that everyone loves a good love story. As evidenced by the photo from Facebook, they both look as happy as can be.

"To tell you the truth, we fell in love with each other. I know you think that may be a little bit far-fetched for somebody our age, but we fell in love with each other," Phyllis Cook told WNWO.

The happy couple tied in the knot at the courthouse. They stopped in to get their marriage license and after finding out they could get married that day, they figured 'why not?' Phyllis and John have both experienced losses over the years, but feel very lucky to have found love again for the third time.
"We were just compatible in a whole lot of ways, found ourselves enjoying each other's company," John Cook said.
John, a World War II veteran, and Phyllis are spending their married time enjoying each others company at Kingston Residence of Sylvania. The Cooks are each keeping their own residences -- John upstairs and Phyllis downstairs. The lovebirds are riding around on their mobility scooters throughout their assisted living facility and enjoying meals as they enjoy their new life together.
Longevity runs in Phyllis Cook's family, her mother was 106 when she passed on. So there's plenty of time for the new couple to enjoy their favorite things together. I foresee many happy days in the halls of the Kingston Residence of Sylvania. Maybe the newlyweds will inspire other residents to find love again in old age.
