Jon Pardi is looking for his third No. 1 single off 2016's California Sunrise. His first two, "Head Over Boots" and "Dirt On My Boots," both hit the milestone within the last year.

Now, Pardi has just dropped the official video for new single "Heartache On The Dance Floor." The disco beat-heavy tune takes some West Coast inspiration (and plenty of scenery to boot). With a singalong chorus and familiar themes, the tune should fit right in on most modern country formats.
In the video, Pardi grabs a quick hotdog on the beach before dozing off, hat over his eyes. The afternoon snack inspires dreams complete with beach bonfires and beautiful girls. Meanwhile, Pardi performs the tune around a tiny California town and beachside boardwalks.
He wrote the song alongside Bart Butler and Brice Long. The threesome also penned the track "All Time High" off the same album together, while Butler also shares credit on the title cut "California Sunrise."
Much of Pardi's album focuses on his brand drawl-heavy California country. The poppy melodies and danceable vibes are a departure from his second single, which leans a little heavier a la Jason Aldean. Meanwhile, "Head Over Boots" was one of the catchiest songs of 2015/2016. The singalong anthem also happens to be on of the most "traditional" country songs on his record.

Jon Pardi released California Sunrise just over a year ago, but the record has serious legs thanks to his radio success. He went on tour with Dierks Bentley and Cole Swindell to support the album. You can still catch that tour throughout 2017, as well as other festival and solo dates.
Pardi also joins Luke Bryan for some tour dates near the end of September, marking some of the biggest gigs of the 32-year-old's career. Pardi's first album, Write You A Song, helped earn him a loyal following before country radio expanded it.
