Jon Pardi is giving fans a taste of his forthcoming album Heartache Medication (out Sept. 27) with the fiddle-driven title track.

"Heartache Medication," written by Pardi, Natalie Hemby and Barry Dean, is a classic country tune about a barroom dweller drowning his heartache with another type of over-the-counter medicine.
"I got my heartache medication, a strong dedication/ To gettin' over you, turnin' me loose/ On that hardwood jukebox lost in neon time," Pardi sings. "My heartache medication, well it suits me fine/ And I'm drinkin' enough to take you off my mind."

Pardi will kick off his Heartache Medication Tour on Oct. 1 at Nashville's historic Ryman Auditorium. The tour will feature rising country artist Riley Green.
Heartache Medication is the follow-up to Pardi's 2016 album California Sunrise, which spawned the hits "Dirt on My Boots," "Heartache on the Dancefloor" and "Head Over Boots."
