A native of Memphis, Tenn., Timberlake purchased the 127 acres in Williamson County for $4 million in 2015.
"Three distinct mountaintops offer views of the property and valley from on high," reads a news story by Realtor. "And privacy is all but guaranteed, as just a few large, neighboring parcels abut this one. Potential development on the land is limited in scope, on account of a conservation agreement enacted by a state land trust."
Photos show vast pieces of the countryside, with walking trails in the woods, a pond encircled by the tree line and wide-open pastures. The Dobyns Branch Creek runs through the property, which is located in the historic Leipers Fork district near the Natchez Trace Parkway.
Due to zoning limitations, the property is most likely to be used for such outdoor pursuits as hunting, hiking, horseback riding and fishing.
Preservationist Aubrey Preston sold Timberlake the property in 2015. In a 2016 story by the Tennessean, Preston shed some light on what draws celebrities to the Leipers Fork area, aside from large, lush and relatively affordable lots of land.
"I think people out here have kind of taken it as part of their responsibility to help some of these folks [like Timberlake] feel comfortable," Preston said. "The demands that they have on their life in the outer world are a little bit different than the average cat. I think this community as a whole tries to help them be comfortable, and have a normal life with their families, and, for the most part, that's not too hard."
